Sports Education Framework
- Holistic Education Through Sports
We reinforce our emphasis on mass participation in sports in school in 2011 as one of the key components of our Sports Education Framework.
From 2011, the PE department specifically dedicates the PE lessons in T4 (3-4 weeks) to inter-class games for all pupils. The pupils play the sport games that they learn in T3, when they can apply what has been taught earlier on.
All pupils form teams that are either competitive or friendly. They will play against teams of similar calibre and do their best in the games. :P
Through participating in sports games in a competitive setting that is properly geared to suit pupils' needs, we believe our younger charges will learn more about themselves, others and values that they need to have to do well in the games as well as in their lives. We hope that the positive learning that they have acquired can also be translated to good behaviour that they should have to succeed.
