2015 Sec 1 CCA Orientation & Attachment

The 2015 cohort of Sec 1 students underwent a CCA Orientation and Attachment program for 2 consecutive CCA Fridays that includes a CCA LEAPS 2,0 Briefing to explain to them of the importance and criteria of the new LEAPS 2.0 system.

In addition, they also attended a CCA Exhibition with booths put up by their seniors and CCA teachers. This is part of the platform for the CCA seniors to showcase their leadership and upfront speaking as they explain and describe to the Sec 1s about life in their respective CCAs and the experiences they have underwent.

The CCA attachment gives the Sec 1s the opportunity to immerse themselves in uniform groups CCA on two consecutive CCA Fridays in order to give them a taste of what life is like in the particular CCA. Moreover, the Performing Arts, Clubs & Sports CCAs also held auditions to gauge the suitability and aptitude of prospective students who are inclined towards these CCAs.

We hope that these authentic learning experiences will open up pathways for our Sec 1 students to engage themselves actively in the various CCAs that they are allocated to in order for them to develop themselves holistically to be responsible and thinking citizens of Singapore with the correct values and attitude that will encourage life long learning into adulthood.
